Dear Joseph and Lucia,
Never think you will stop learning.
In my field of work, I’m confronted with new languages and programming styles almost every day. I recently stumbled across a new way of programming in LabVIEW that changes almost everything. I’m busy trying to learn how to adapt Object Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques to what I’ve already started. It’s a whole different platform and methodology. I’m hoping it will improve my code and make it more manageable. But it’s hard for me to wrap my head around it. I’m basically breaking away from everything I’ve done over the last 25 years in the field.
It’s really hard.
The end result is you never stop learning new things, ideas, tricks, concepts.
Don’t stop searching for new answers. I’ll wait here to teach you what I’ve learned.
Love,
Dad
