Dear Joseph and Lucia,

It turned out to be a pleasant long weekend. I took Thursday off and drove home in the morning. When I got home, I took a nice long nap. When Michèle got home from work, she made us all salads.

On Friday, we spent the majority of the day cleaning the pool.  I fixed the Polaris and let it finish the job for us. By the time evening came about, all was clean enough for us to enjoy the hot tub. I was very enjoyable.

On Saturday, we went downtown to the Farmers Market. We strolled through a huge nursery.  I treated her to a Dutch restaurant where she enjoyed a nice herring sandwich. We also watched a few movies at home.

We spent Sunday morning cleaning up around the house. It’s amazing how much dog and cat hair we swept up. We spent the rest of the day binge watching the Arrow on Netflix. I really didn’t want to leave, but I had to.

So that’s a wrap up of the weekend. It was relaxing. I would of loved to shared it with you two. Until then, I’ll wait.
