Dear Joseph and Lucia,

I know it’s only Monday, but I can’t wait for this weekend.It’s the one year anniversary of Papa Gene’s passing.  I’m taking Michèle down to Plantersville for the Renaissance Festival.  It was just miles from our old house in Dobbin.  I hope to stop by St. Mary’s, Prissy’s, and the old house on the way. It will be such a wonderful way to celebrate Papa Gene’s life.  He loved going to the festival.

I plan to meet up with Sherry and her daughter while we are there.  Sherry was a VERY close friend of mine in high school.  For each of our own reasons, we weren’t accepted by the average student.  So we said “up yours” and went off in my VW Bug and sang Cyndi Lauper at the top of our lungs driving around Caldwell. I can’t wait to see her again.

I did a timelapse film of the sunset on my way home last Friday. I set the camera up on a tripod and took photos about every 30 seconds. I still need to figure out a way to post it onto my URL.  In the mean time, I have a copy and also posted it on Facebook..

I’m busily typing all this while inhaling a sandwich for lunch.  I wish I could spend more time with you.  Share my inventions, recipes, creations, and ideas.  Until then, I’ll be here waiting.
