Dear Joseph and Lucia,
Friday has finally rolled up to the end of a very long week. I get to go home to Michèle tonight. I can’t wait.
I haven’t gotten any of the scan results back yet. I’m hoping to hear something today, but not holding my breath. Even if the radiologist posts his results, it’s likely they won’t be reviewed by my doctor until next week. So in the meantime, I’ll continue on. I don’t have much choice.
Sometimes life can throw you a curve. It’s up to you to deal with it in a positive response.
I met with Melynda, your step-sister, last night. She is doing well, but having to work hard. This is her first time on her own. I’m very proud of her. Afterwards, I took in a movie which made for a late night. The last thing I want to do is curl up and give up. The meeting with Mel encouraged me to keep going strong.
That’s really all I have for today. And as always, I’ll be here waiting. I’ll post any updates as they come.
Love,
Dad
